About Us

Pension Chauchau is located in the extremely convenient place, just an 8-minute walk from all the major spots including JR train station, bus stop and ski runs. In Hakuba, you can enjoy popular sports of skiing and snowboarding in winter, and even in summer you can experience a variety of sports of hiking, trekking, cycling, tennis and horseback riding.

Hakuba ski resort is famous for high quality of snow and amazing large fields with plenty of snows, honored to be chosen for Olympics Winter Game in Nagano 1998.

Here, the ski season lasts till the Golden Week in the first week of May,the longest vacation period in Japan. We guarantee you will be hooked on this magnificent scenery of mountains.

Our pension was an official accommodation for the Italian national team in Nagano Olympics, the medal winners of the Nordic event.

Original cuisine with chemical-free vegetables grown in our garden pleased all players and was very popular.

All of our guestrooms are sunny and tidy, equipped with air-conditioner,CATV, DVD player and telephone.

Our guests have access to an outdoor Jacuzzi and herb bath. You can have a drink even in a bathing suit in our pension !

You can relax and have a wonderful time in our bright and lodge-like dinning room and lounge.

We offer an original cuisine, the western dinner with locally grown ingredients, and fresh vegetables and herbs from our garden. Advance booking available in;

Reservation can be accepted for 2 persons and above. Single occupancy is not provided.
Children under 12 years old are charged at a rate of 80% of room rates.
Infants under 5 years old are not charged. (No extra bed is provided.)
Payment by credit cards is available. Visa & Master can be accepted.
Cancellation policy : No show : 100% , On the day of your stay : 80% , One day prior to your stay : 20%,
Note 1) The percentages signify the rate of cancellation charge to room rates in the tariff.
Note 2) When the numbers of days contracted is shortened, cancellation charge for its first day shall be paid by the guest, regardless of the number of day shortened.
